Joe Island Romantic Holidays

All was wonderful. We had a problem with the concrete curbs. The curb grabbed our bumper and pulled the front end of our bumper off when we had to back out. It has cost us several thousand dollars for the repairs. Otherwise it was a beautiful facility.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree! Debra was incredibly detail-oriented, friendly, and attentive, and George was knowledgeable, helpful, and very service-oriented. They both made a great impression on us. Everything was beautiful and clean. The property is so spacious, especially the outdoor areas, that it honestly feels more like a resort than a hotel. The rooms were large, comfortable, and very family-friendly. We especially loved having an outdoor porch with each room it was so convenient and made it easy to step outside and enjoy the surroundings. And the view was AMAZING! Although we didn’t get to see the dolphins, we still enjoyed the sunset views immensely. There was something really relaxing about being able to sit outside and take it all in. My only con would be the food. I ordered the Jamaican jerk chicken, but unfortunately it was missing the “jerk” 😅. The food could definitely use some improvement. Overall, though, we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider coming back!
