I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel2stay. It’s in a very convenient location, close to public transport. The room is big and has a little kitchen inside, very convenient I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place that feels a little like home while in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, particularly because of how my concerns were handled by the front desk. When I arrived, I was told that a room was available for early check-in but would cost €10 per hour. This was not mentioned on the booking page, so I declined and expressed my frustration. To be clear, I am not referring to the additional €7 charge, which I was aware of and had no issue with. After I complained, another receptionist said I could check in without any additional cost. I checked in at around 1:22pm and turned on the AC because the room was very hot. It did not appear to work, but I assumed it needed time. When I returned around 5pm, the room was even hotter, so I contacted reception. The female receptionist responded in an extremely rude and dismissive manner, saying they did not have enough staff and essentially asking what I expected them to do. I did not argue. Later, a member of staff came with a fan and said the AC could not be fixed and that I could not be moved because the hotel was fully booked. Interestingly, when I checked the hotel’s availability myself, double rooms were still available for that night, which made this explanation difficult to understand. I also found very long hairs in my towels and bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant and unhygienic. Technical problems can happen, but the way this situation was handled and the attitude of the staff were unacceptable. I have never experienced this.

Good location hotel but had a few issues with room cleaning and faulty shower repaired twice management was quite good at sorting issues

Positives: Large quiet, very clean room. Great bed. Housekeeping staff was fantastic. Very well located for art museums, high end shopping and good restaurants. Negative: breakfast was awful and grossly overpriced. We ended up eating out at Blushing—only a 3 minute walk, great breakfast, for about the same price. Also-they had no wash cloths in the building!

Convenient location near Amsterdam Centraal, and a very nice hotel. Our premium room was spacious, bed was comfortable and the pillows were just right for our comfort. The shower was well supplied and not too small (like many others experienced elsewhere).

Property close to public transportation. Had to request new door keys numerous times because they didn’t work. Road work prevented access to train station and taxi/uber rides
