This is a great hotel. Our river view room was spectacular. The staff were friendly. The overall surroundings are brilliant, well maintained, and we saw elephants having lunch in the neighbouring national park from a few feet away (through an electric fence!). It's well located to get into Livingstone and you really can't beat staying right on the banks of the Zambezi. The pool is nice, if slightly smaller than expected, and not heated. The service was sometimes slow. Food was good, not exceptional. But overall, a very positive experience and I'd stay here again if we return to Livingstone.

Overall this is an okay place to escape for a short period of time. The staff are nice and helpful, however: - if you do “all inclusive” expect more things to be excluded than included. They are not very generous with this. - very strict hotel policies that impact guest experience. For example we asked for a late checkout and inquired if there was any guest arriving to use the same room that day. The staff said no one was coming to use the room, but if we wanted a late check out it would be charged $50 (USD) to use the room for two more hours. This is just poor hospitality and guest experience management. As soon as check out time came we were charged even for a bottle of water. - amenities: the property itself is great but small things like the gym are in very poor condition. Additionally bar hours are limited and they call close by 11pm. - staff: this is definitely where they do well with very nice staff, but again expect them to follow strict policies with no exception or flexibility.

FAKE REVIEWS. Unbelievable. I felt like I was in the center of a giant joke. The service was awful. The food barely edible. Most of the time it was called and I swear at least twice I got someone’s leftovers rearranged. I’ve had better service at a motel. They also fake their reviews so don’t believe the hype. I honestly cannot stress this enough, the service, food and staff were nightmarish. Even the excursions they booked for us were horrendous. The “elite vip” cruise was 30 minutes late to pick us up, boat didn’t take off until 3.5 hours into the excursion, they fed us actual Twinkies for breakfast, and then dropped us off 2 hours late to the hotel. I wouldn’t stay here for free.

Nice hotel overall for the price you pay (budget friendly option), but slightly older/worn out. Large facilities and pool area, restaurants were not anything I would recommend but there are options nearby and only 10 min taxi to central Marrakech. We stayed for 2 nights and was out a lot. Concierge was helpful to organize taxi to Agadir, but I tried calling reception to get an iron and never heard back. There also was a nightclub nearby playing very high music into the night, bring earplugs!
