Excellent Base
"Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites."

"This was a great stay! Being a castle and older building, we weren’t sure how modern the facilities would be but we were pleasantly surprised to find a room which blended the charm and heritage of the castle, with everything you need today. Pianos throughout were a great touch too!"

"Hotel was geared mainly for people using the spaas there was no guest lounge to seat in and read. We paid extra to have a room with a sitting room so we could sit and read. Breakfast was brilliant lots of different choices and tasty. We booked the hotel for three days and found very little space ..."
