Great location

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Imlauer & Bräu. The staff were wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The location was excellent - very close to Mirabell Palace and Gardens and within easy walking distance of Salzburg's main sights, while still being peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would happily return on a future trip to Salzburg, and would highly recommend this hotel to others.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating. We arrived early and they were able to check us in right away. The location is very central and convenient. The rooms had just been renovated and were beautiful. The hotel was under construction but it did not bother us.

Awesome hotel in the heart of the Old Town. A historic cinema still operates in the basement and first floors, and our son loved the popcorn machine outside the theater. Our room (superior double) was nice and large with an updated bathroom and plenty of space for 2 adults and a child. The staff were all very friendly and helpful in providing directions, making reservations, etc. Our son loved his cute present for reading the Leo book provided at check-in. A grocery store and numerous restaurants are just steps away. The funicular is about a 10-minute walk, as are most parts of the old town, and the new town is also about a 10-minute walk across the Mozart Bridge. The perfect spot to stay when visiting Salzburg!
