Barolong Ski Holidays

The rooms don’t have blankets, there was a “blanket” in the closet, but it was not even remotely soft and felt like covering up with a rug. The toilet was broken the whole stay, we had to fix it ourselves multiple times. The pool closed before dinner time. The property was a great location, the beach was beautiful, and staff was friendly, but for the price of the stay it felt very mediocre.

This was a property that I wasn’t 100% sure about and we LOVED it! I had asked AI to help me choose as I was travelling with my 20 year old daughter and it said it was one she’d remember in 10 years! It was a spacious room full of so many windows, high ceilings, the coolest kitchen, amazing views. I could go on and on. The staff was delightful, kind and helpful. I’ll be back in November with husband and 17 year old daughter and will book again! This property is unique and just A+++!!!

No view outside and to small

We stayed in the junior suite for a 2 night wedding anniversary. From the second we entered, the staff was super helpful and just nice. Seems simple but we often overlook a simple hello followed by a smile. The langham club on 4th floor had some of the most accommodating and kind staff. Their attention to detail is what you would expect from A 5* hotel. The breakfast is delicious and offers a range of options (smoked salmon, baked goods, excellent coffee, eggs, bacon, sausage, yoghurts etc. The rooms are very large and spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel uses dyptique products which are high class. The hotels location is very well Centered and close to major metro lines. They do have a car shuttle service that is a first come first serve basis. The drops You off pretty much on any street on 5th avenue. Would recommend and definitely my go to when I go back to the city.
