The food was very good. Staff was friendly.

I expected more from this resort, but was somewhat disappointed by the amenities and the food service

It's a good hotel however it seemed a bit old, not very modern. A lot of the facilities like pool tables, video games, etc were not working. Some of the water slides were not working or sometimes bumpy leading to some scratches on the way down. Food wise, not impressed at all. Very similar food choices everyday and vegetarians would really struggle for choices.

Lots of positives and some negatives. In short I would go again. To expand a little... the complex and the layout are very good. It's a very nicely styled hotel. Compliments to the room cleaning staff, the restaurant staff, the bar staff (other than a bit of a grumpy guy called Omar at the pool bar) and compliments too to the entertainment team (though my kids didn't do much with them). All those guys were great. Reception staff were hit and miss. The luggage handler guys were imposing and controlling - I absolutely hated having my room key taken away from me while two luggage handlers escorts me to my room. Felt like a total tip-grab attempt. Food we maybe a 3.5 - 4 starts out of 5. Some bits were excellent, and other bits less so. There was always a plentiful supply though. I don't think you can expect too much out of an all-inclusive so for me this was fine - but my wife notes that we had better in Turkey. Now to my main gripe... it is absolutely unacceptable for a so-called 5* hotel to downgrade your room on arrival without any prior notification and then claim that you cannot have the room type you booked because we are full. You quite simply don't over-allocate. We got put into a double room which then had 2x extra temporary single beds squeezed in. When people book their holidays they pay careful attention to the room they choose and the extra money they are willing to pay for it - so downgrading you (and worse finding this out at 11pm with 2x small kids) was poor

Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges. One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock). The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices. The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel.

Kenzie was an absolute dream. We had a long journey and my son was not feeling well when we arrived. The manager at Kenzie treated us like family. He offered us early check in. He made sure my family and I were well take. Care of. I honestly feel like we wouldn’t have Siri Ed the trip without him. Thank you so much for your compassion and hospitality. Everything about the resort was perfect. Beautifully manicured, good food, lots of activities, beautiful pools, and wonderful staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our accommodations were stunning. We are so grateful that we chose Kenzie.
