This is supposed to be a five-star hotel, and for the prices of everything, it sure proved to be so, but in its quality and service, it was most definitely not. I found it very outdated and in great need of some updates like beds, technology, and just all-around appearances.

We loved everything about this place from the charm and character of the house and rooms to the staff and all the amenities. 5 STAR PLACE and only a block from Devall.

Very clean, AC was great in the 95 degree heat

We were really looking forward to this stay, but unfortunately it fell far below our expectations for a resort. Upon arrival, the air conditioning in our original room was completely nonfunctional. The front desk initially gave us a remote and asked us to try troubleshooting it ourselves, but when the technician arrived, he admitted it still might not work. With the room well over 95 degrees, we had to insist on being moved before we were finally given the room next door. In our new room, there was a ceiling air vent that continuously blew hot air into the room. We tried explaining the issue to the front desk multiple times, but they didn’t seem to understand what we were referring to, so it was never resolved. The condition of the property also left a lot to be desired. The chairs outside our room were broken, and the cushions were old, stained, and dirty. The hotel elevator was also unreliable, at one point it wasn’t working at all, and when it did, a piece of the door would protrude as it opened, which felt unsafe. The tranquility pool was equally disappointing. There were no towels available, the outdoor shower wasn’t working, the water dispenser for drinking water was out of service, and many of the pool chairs were broken or in poor condition. There were simply too many maintenance issues throughout the stay for us to feel comfortable or enjoy our vacation. We hope the hotel invests in much-needed repairs and upkeep because the location has potential.
