The hotel's location couldn't be better, close to Gendarmenmarkt, Museum Island, Potsdamer Platz, shopping, public transportation, and a wide variety of restaurants. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable, though the mannered chairs take up way too much space and should be replaced. Desk staff could be more welcoming but the women on the restaurant staff are wonderfully friendly and there is a good, though pricey, breakfast buffet. The bar offers cocktails at a discount on weekdays. The laundry service is poor to the point of being unusable, charging double on weekends and for pickups even one minute after the stated 9 am guest delivery time. For longer stays a self-service laundromat is the only option.

I love the property, everything was excellent

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window? Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.

The gym is a good 5-10 minute walk away. The wifi was abysmal the entire trip, with no fix. TV was very limited, news channels only. A true business hotel.

I had such an amazing stay at the Grand Hyatt Berlin. I didn’t use the pool, gym, or breakfast, but the room and service was phenomenal. Room was squeaky clean everyday, room was gorgeous, and the location was convenient and felt very safe. It was my first time in Germany and this hotel made my experience perfect. If there is anything to criticize, it would be the Vox restaurant. My fries came out cold and my water was over 10 euros. It would’ve been nice to know that my water would be more expensive than most other drink options and my side. Their crème brûlée and wine was amazing though. I wanted to go back just for those. I will be coming back here if I come back to Berlin :)
