Dear Resort Management Team, we arewriting to share feedback regarding recent stay at Bahia Principe Luxury Ambar from August 28 to September 4, 2026. le our overall experience at the resort had many positive aspects, our vacation was significantly impacted by the condition of the beach.Throughout our entire stay, the ocean water and shoreline were completely covered in heavy sargassum seaweed. Unfortunately, this made it impossible for us to swim in or enjoy the ocean, which was one of the primary reasons we chose your property for our beach holiday.While w understand that sargassum is a widespread regional and environmental challenge, the volume during our stay completely overwhelmed the beach area. We trongly believe the resort management should invest in more proactive measures to minimize its impact on the guest exexperience. We'd highly recommend considering upgraded offshore maritime barriers or specialized seaweed collection boats to better manage the volume during peak months. Guests look forward to the beautiful Punta Cana waters, and more visible, effective actions to keep the swimming areas clear would make a massive difference. No complaints, we will only try to travel on peak season not off peak because not too many selection on food. Except for the restaurant when you make reservations in the restaurant they have great food. The buffets have limited food. Otherwise Paradisus Palma Real is excellent.

This was our first trip to Turks and Caicos. We traveled during the quiet season, late August into early September. We learned that the island is one of the low-key places to visit for the most part anyway and that was perfect for us. We went to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We had an ocean view room of the beach. It was stunning. The room was spacious. We had a junior suite. The kitchenette was convenient. The bathroom was huge, separate water closet, tub, and shower. The balcony had a table for in suite dining, as well as lounge chairs perfect for watching the sunrise over the ocean. The resort staff was outstanding from the minute we checked in until we checked out. We were greeted with rum punch and given a tour of the grounds. Everything was explained to us in terms of what we would be interested in doing during our stay. There are restaurants on-site. The complementary breakfast was our favorite meal. We can’t say enough good things about the food. We were pampered from beach-side to pool-side. I booked a massage for my husband. The spa and fitness facility were top notch. Because of the economy of the island overall, it was a little expensive. However, if you budget with this in mind, you won’t be surprised. We felt we got our money’s worth. We attended the weekly Fish Fry which was a blast! Good food, music, and an opportunity to purchase souvenirs from the local vendors. We are planning our next visit already.
