"Great property clean location, however the bed headboard kept making noise most of the night .. very strange I couldn’t sleep!"

"Check in was super easy. We arrived earlier than expected but were able to access our room. Location is excellent and an added bonus of secure parking. One little thing we only had 1 pillow each and would have preferred 2, but apart from that great stay. Didn't have breakfast."

"It was mother-daughter weekend trip to attend perfume workshop in beautiful setting of Cotswolds. We throughly enjoyed whole experience of the weekend walking along the water, eating beautifl meal at the hotel, and peaceful evening in our room. "

"Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "

"A joy for the history lover, but it has some seriously steep stairs and uneven floors. The room was large and clean with a modern bathroom. If you like historic inns this place is worthy of your consideration, but be prepared for the stairs!"

"Brilliant find: perfect location with lovely views over the main high street & river, modern and clean accommodation, fresh milk in fridge & cafetière coffee is a step up from usual hotel rooms and the breakfast room service was absolutely fantastic! "

"Wonderful stay, bed was comfy albeit small. Only complaint was thin walls, we could hear music from the restaurant downstairs and the neighbors tv through the wall. Otherwise incredibly charming stay, very friendly staff, and delicious restaurant. "

"Room was a little small but compared to other accommodation it was value for money. Entrance smelled of damp but that was probably due to floods as it’s a stones throw from the river. Shower small and cramped but staff very helpful."
