"The rooms were unusually large, and I suggest they advertise that. Its a nice feature. The room has quality furnishings, bedding, better-than-most shower, etc. The hotel is a close distance to the Tulane University. The only drawback, is that the balcony that is advertised--at least on our second floor room--was not worth mentioning and was unfurnished. "

"The hotel was close to canal street and the streetcar. Really enjoyed that! The only thing I didn’t like was my mattress in my room sunk down probably do to a lot of people sleeping on that side. "

Complimentary bottled water, just ask the front desk nicely! Free 2 oz wine tasting. Comfortable king size bed. Good location, short enough walk to Bourbon Street/Jackson Square but far enough from the noise to get some sleep. Sliding bathroom door can be tricky and gets stuck sometimes. Super thin walls. Initially, there was an issue with the room I booked and the manager at the location reached out to me to explain and rectified the matter. "This was my second visit, as I came for Jazz festival last year as well. I was in a quieter spot in the hotel last year, but when I spoke with the desk staff about some noisy people next door to my room, they took care of it. In general, the property is in good shape. Could use new outdoor carpeting in the pool area. This location is convenient if you don’t want to drive, as a bus stops very near to the hotel, and a single straightforward transfer has you downtown in short order. I would likely...
