"Large hotel in Douglas Co Cork. It was busy with social functions but due to being on the 5th floor I wasn't impacted by noise. Hotel room was clean but corridors and shared areas were dated and a bit shabby in places"

Very difficult to sleep and woken up early on the morning around 5am with the sound of the trains every hour. However that’s not the hotels fault, just avoid room 324 as this was our room. "

"The staff where excellent, all so very friendly and lovely to us. I travel alot, and for a big hotel, I was taken back by the friendlyness and helpfulness of the staff, you don't see that enough anymore. We arrived late and was greated by a funny and friendly porter. The reception staff, in the pool and breakfast staff, all went out their way to help us. Would highly recommend "
