"The Imperial hotel is in a great location, as it’s located in the center of Cork. We easily walked to many restaurants and pubs, and we especially enjoyed the English Market. The hotel lobby areas, restaurants and rooms are beautifully appointed, very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and available at all times."

"We booked 3 rooms and each had some issues with cleanliness. The hotel staff did assist with this. Overall the rooms were a bit run down and dated. One of the elevators broke down which was very inconvenient. There was a lot of things to do around the neighborhood and it was quite close to The Blarney Castle. "

"Value was being away from city centre. Good advice from reception staff to take bus into Cork and then walk to the Springsteen gig Saved a lot of taxis. "

"Great stay. Helpful staff. Little things at this level matter though - answering the phone when you’re in the middle of checking someone in isn’t a great look. And the room was uncomfortably warm, even with windows open or AC on max. The views on the other side would’ve been stunning looking East over Oyster Haven. West-facing you just have a car park. Request level 3 on the left (odd-numbered rooms I think). Bar menu was decent. Waiting staff there were brilliant!!!"

"Upon miscalculating the distance and steep nature of the climb to your beatuful hotel , I arrived at the front desk sweating profusely and mt wife was udergoibg a minor asthmatic attach. Michelle , the lively receptionist, was alarmed and very concerned for my wife . She immediately provided water and assistance. She was great .
