"Great value stay in Dublin. The common areas are fantastic and I really enjoyed using them. The kitchens were not well stocked with cookware and there was no supplies to clean your room with, coupled with a lack of cleaning service that made it a little uncomfortable for a two week stay "

Friendly and helpful staff. ots of bookcases and objects d'art, giving the sense of staying in the private townhouse of an elderly Dublin intellectual. Only downside is the surrounding area which is a bit dodgy. Other than that, highly recommended! "

"Quite quirky rooms with interesting layouts. It doesn't feel very secure when travelling alone with no key lock, or chain lock on the doors (there were 2 connecting doors to my room). Bed was very comfortable, shower was great and had everything I needed in the kitchen. Check in was fine as others said it was difficult but once you follow the instructions it's pretty simple. Rooms a little on the cool side with breezes through the vents but this didn't bother me too much."

It's a guest house carved out of a residential building so the rooms and various layouts are not to any kind of standard format which leads to some curious shapes and sauna surprises! "The room was lovely. We were concerned about the small bathroom from the pictures online but it was very nice and easy to get ready. No breakfast place was open when we left, so some grab and go rolls would have been nice. The coffee machine was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"We were woken from our sleep to move rooms, as we had been put in the wrong room, then to be told we had to move again the following day, we were very amendable and was offered a £50 meal voucher and wine to be then told we owed more money so we returned these. Hotel itself lovely just disappointed that they felt this was ok"

"The Cliff Townhouse is in a wonderful location overlooking Stephens Green. It's a renovated Georgian house so there are lots of steps - not a problem for me but it's something for others to be aware of. While I had a fine stay, I expected better based on the online pictures and the price point. The breakfast in the Urchin Bar was average and service was really slow. I did dine in the restaurant for dinner (sea bream over black ink risotto - yum!) and it was excellent and the service was great...

"The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. However, I wouldn't recommend it for light sleepers as there was a lot of noise from both the trains passing by and the nearby pubs. The trains would occasionally rattle the whole apartment!"

"Good sized studio, well equipped, quiet, comfortable, secure. Oven but no microwave. Lighting very low in the living area. Mattress was saggy and lumpy - needed a new one. Cafe downstairs, open until mid afternoon. Excellent location on the Liffey River, walking distance to just about everywhere within about 15-20 minutes. Cross the Ha'penny Bridge to the Temple area with lots of restaurants and bars. Trams on the block behind, buses out the front. "
