Casino Hotels in Dominican Republic

"I had read ratings and heard from friends that the resort was 4.5-5 star and I expected a lot. I was disappointed. There were minor irritants like the safe in the room that didn't work, the in-room coffee machine that broke the second day but I found that the food in the restaurants was disappointing. The food in the buffet restaurant was very good by comparison. The biggest failure in my mind was golf. We played a round of "free" golf which cost $80 per person for the cart and $45 for rental...

"This is an extremely large property but they offer shuttles that can take you around. They run every 15 mins or so. The casino at the property is very clean and they have events nightly. "

"Nice overall, plenty of options for getting food & drinks, friendly service. Some things ready for repair, like the main lobby staircase. Not all foods are labeled, which is needed when it comes to allergens. The idea of going to a breakfast for a "talk" would have been better understood if they said "sales presentation" at the begining."

"Amazing place and facilities! We stayed in the Colonial Club and had the most amazing butler Luis! There is always something to do and the place is very clean. Just a few minor tweaks with the quality of food, speed of service, some renovations and this could easily be a five star hotel."
