"We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. "It was almost maze like inside, but was very well marked for guests and the amenities were abundant and enjoyable. The rooms clean and the staff friendly and excited to be of service. Wonderful stay. Thank you, from two Americans who loved to be here. "

"The grounds and the staff were great. The bed was super comfortable and the room appeared to be as well. That is, until it I learned that there was no aircon and they did not have fans. This left me with the option to open the windows the tiny bit they can be opened to cool the room. Unfortunately, this meant a million bugs since there is no netting on the windows. I ultimately had to close the windows, kill as many bugs as I could, and then spend the night alternating between slapping bugs...

"Norton House is a gem just a 15 minute drive from the Edinburgh airport, and you don't have to drive through the city to get there. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good. We didn't use the pool or spa, but it looked lovely. We greatly appreciated the free parking. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially as a final destination before your trip to the airport."

"Excellent staff, although there’s no AC, and rooms and en-suites are looking a little rough around the edges, the walls are thin and the floors are creaky, doors slam everywhere, not the clientele, just the nasty door closers. don’t let that put you off, Great location, even better staff "

"Nice pool and facilities and comfy room. The only thing that let it down was the breakfast. It was cold or undercooked and not restocked quickly. The staff were lovely though it was very busy just over run I think."
