"TV didn’t work in the room for the first two nights. Staff initially offered to move us to a new room but then retracted the offer and instead offered a key to a room with a tv until they could fix it the next day. Not a great solution."

"Great location. Lovely big room and bathroom. Very clean. Enjoyed the pool and steam room/sauna - practically had them to myself. It’s a shame there are no loungers round the pool (as per photographs on website) - only chairs. It’s a small area so maybe they weren’t practical. "

"Stayed here many times over many years and still keeps its standards high in almost all areas. The exception being the quality, variety of the breakfast service. It is just not up to the standard of the hotel"

"Excellent trip from start to finish. We arrived early, but the rooms were already ready. And we got a fantastic upgrade! The concierge helped us plan out our sightseeing for the following day, as well as made a great dinner recommendation and reservation. Drinks and food at Peacock Alley and the Caley bar were excellent. The service was wonderful - I wish I could remember all the staffs’ name who assisted us. Thanks for an excellent stay! "

"Stayed for three nights on a weekday visit to Edinburgh. The hotel is fifteen minutes walk from Princes Street and Waverley Station, but on a quiet road overlooking a small park. Very clean and well appointed, friendly staff and good value."
