Property had no character. Everything was stark white. Room was very uncomfortable, not enough space for clothes and not even a chair in the room. The only think available to sit on was the bed. I would never stay here again and would not recommend

We arrived from Canada after a long travel day and the hotel staff were very welcoming, they offered some great suggestions for restaurants that were all within walking distance of the hotel. We felt very safe walking around the hotel and we were very close to lots of shopping as well as many of the attractions including the Edinburgh Castle, and the Royal Mile. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this hotel.

The rooms were well designed and inviting. The mattresses were comfortable and the bed was power operated to elevate. Loved the modern lighting as well. Like everyone else mentioned the bathroom design is annoying. Wish the bathroom stall and shower were connected so you could dress there.

We had difficulties reaching reception by phone - they never answered but knew we were calling Out shower area leaking into out toilet area We told the staff Nothing was done Nor was the water cleaned up before or after we told them - they gave us 1 hand towel to throw on the puddle

Great location. Great bar but didn’t get a chance to try food because had private events two nights we were there. Didn’t buy breakfast. Room was great and very clean. There’s just no door from bathroom to main room. So just a bit odd and lacking privacy in that respect. Otherwise, it was great.

Overall the location is good, price is fair. But there isn’t a lot transportations around there, you will have to walk all the way to the Prince st to take transportations. Hotel self-check-in(out) is very convenient. It’s very clean and staff is very friendly. The only downside is that the AC is motion-activated, so when I was asleep it stopped, I felt that I could not breath then I sat up the AC sensed my motion and started again, so I could not sleep very well. Comparing so many hotels in UK that has no AC at all, at least this one has AC.

Convenient location- 12 min walk from Shandwick bustop. Great breakfast, great room, modern, loved the TOTAL room darkening blinds! Very comfortable King bed! Even option to choose colour of lights around TV. Was grateful to get an early check in at bo charge due to Expedia booking. Greenwood restaurant nearby was excellent and had all day breakfast

I'm not in Yotel's demographic, I realized. The property is fine so long as you don't have work to do because there is no space in guest rooms to do that. Facilities are fine though spartan. Staff have a good attitude and help out.
