"Beautiful historical hotel with nicely appointed rooms and comfortable linens. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our room which I neglected to notice when I made the reservation. The room had a balcony and it was lovely to sit outside above the hustle and bustle on the street and enjoy a glass on wine before dinner! It was quiet inside the room; I never heard other guests or traffic outside. The only drawback was that there were no handrails or towel bars in the bathroom. "

They were cordial but I didn’t feel a welcoming vibe, just this is my job. There was a second person who never looked up from her computer while I checked in. "I brought a few of my crew members to Richmond for a training class and needed a large enough place for one night to house them. This place was perfect!! The pinball machines kept them entertained throughout the evening and the large backyard was an awesome area to hang out in the perfect weather. The place was clean and stocked with many amenities for the guests. The resident cat "Kat" was overloaded with love and attention. Robert is a great host and communicative with any inquires. Highly recommend this place!!"
