"Fantastisch en goed ingericht huis met prachtige ligging en uitzicht over het meer. Zeer comfortabel. Geen geluiden van buren/ bovenburen. In 6 minuten sta je met de auto bij het station waar je gratis kan parkeren en een zeer goede treinverbinding hebt. Wij hebben genoten!"

"Der kurze Aufenthalt war sehr schön und erholsam. Ich wollte noch sagen das die Zigarettenstummel vor der Haustüre und der Salat auf der Terrasse nicht von uns sind . Der Salat wurde von der oberen Etage an die Enten gefüttert . Ansonsten lief alles an Fragen sehr direkt mit einer Antwort und ganz besonders hat mit das saubere frische im Haus gefallen . "This apartment is close to many attractions, restaurants and grocery stores. Our host was responsive whenever we had any questions and provided recommendations on local restaurants. There are 2 flights of steep stairs which would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. We loved our stay and can't recommend this apartment enough!"

"Die liebe Frau Lipke hat uns mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt. So war die Anreise, das Einchecken, der Aufenthalt und dasAuschecken super easy. Im Haus war alles vorhanden was man benötigt und wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Der Grill und der Garten wurden sofort benutzt und wir hatten eine Menge Spaß auf dem Treetboot und auf dem Motorboot. Das Örtchen Medemblik sowie der Strand liegen fussläufig. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen, denn die Woche war viel zu schnell vorbei!"

"The rental is attached to the main house and is truly wonderful. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of room for everyone. We came with 10 people and were comfortable. The bedroom downstairs was perfect for us and the bed was nice and hard(I don’t like a super soft bed). There were all kinds of seasonings and drinks in the fridge for the folks who like to cook. It’s close to the Zaanse Schans and very close to just about everything. We were all very pleased."

"We had a wonderful stay in Medenblik in this lovely holiday home on the Ijsselmeer. The house had everything we needed, including a lockable shed for bike storage, and the garden with decking directly on the waterway was the perfect place to return to after a busy day cycling. The area has lots to see and visit (as cyclists, we were spoilt for choice). We had a super week, and hope to return one day soon."

"Renting the property was quick and straightforward. Good communication with the owner. However, on arrival the property especially the upstairs rooms were very dusty I asked for mop which was provided but was unable to used due to the complicated process of putting the mop together. Overall, we didn't have much experience at the amenities bcos we were out most times. But I would definitely go back to explore the place more."

"Nice size although the layout could have been better. The kitchen was a bit crowded with three doors opening into it. We found the dish soap and towel finally on the table but would have been better placed by the sink. Parking was interesting as we did not know which spot was ours. The reception was very good and helpful. All in all a very nice place and perfect for what we needed."

"A short bus ride from Amsterdam Centraal made this a conveniently located location to stay at. The hotel provides guides for the surrounding area which we should have paid more attention to as they had some very good recommendations for food that was nearby rather than us taking the bus into the city centre."
