"The Wyatt Hotel was an excellent stay! We had initially desired to drive on to the next stop given the ahead trip schedule but could not cancel our reservation with The Wyatt Hotel. It worked out though as Westport has AMAZING places to eat, all within walking distance of the hotel! Hotel staff were nice and the room was great! Only negative was no mattress cover and the mattress was so disgusting stained that it showed through the sheets! Everything else was good to go and for those who always...

"We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2.."

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "Good location, shame about everything else. Check in was perfunctory, as was service at breakfast. No hospitality at all. Room was the smallest I have ever seen, like sleeping in a caravan. Beds short, my feet were sticking out and I am 5'6", not very tall! No shelf or surface in bathroom for toiletries/make up. Very clean apart from finding an item of clothing left under the bed by a previous guest. This is an expensive guesthouse and we were overcharged on checkout, only by a couple of euro...
