The staff were very calm trying to sort this out. We had your confirmation email but as it was in English it needed a lot of explaining. "Scilla is a lovely little town in a good location for some places that we needed to visit. La Lacondiera was quite nice for a B&B in a tiny town. We had a fine room with a sweet tiny balcony with a lovely view. They were very helpful with a few unexpected problems that had nothing to do with them! We may have been the only ones there in Nov. since they set the breakfast buffet only when we said we would be downstairs for it. There is no one there after dark and you use your own key for the front...

"La struttura è situata a 100 metri dal mare. La camera è carina e finemente arredata. Il proprietario ci ha permesso di posticipare il checkout di mezz'oretta. La cucina comune non era perfettamente pulita. Gli ospiti della stanza inferiore hanno fatto molto rumore durante la notte. Era presente solamente una bustina di sapone nel bagno. "

"This place was pretty nice. The AC was marginal, but . . . The lady running the hotel was awesome. She did all of our laundry for 20 Euros. And, we had a lot. Every morning the lady of the house also fixed a great breakfast. With eggs and fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit and everything. This is the only place we stayed in 30 days of traveling around Italy where actual food was served for breakfast. You know, like an omelette or scrambled eggs and bacon that wasn’t raw. I’m so tired...
