"The breakfast is worth it"

"Our room was clean and tidy but small, and the bed was a very small double that was very uncomfortable. The bathroom had a good shower, bidet, toilet and facilities. I had to ask for the Expedia complimentary bottle of wine, which was not handed over graciously! Breakfast was good. "

"For the price, this property was good. A little tired- but has a cozy feel, like your aunt’s house in Des Moines. There were no frills- a bed, shower, tv and there is no elevator - but it’s only 2 floors. Location is perfect for exploring Aveiro. Drawbacks- it was very cold in our room. Não se compreende a profusão de papeis A4 colados nas paredes dentro de micas amarrotadas, os cartões de acesso aos quartos em mau estado e com papeis colados (o custo de cada cartão é inferior a 0,50€…). Nos quartos, não se compreende a falta do diretório e menu de serviços, um WiFi sofrível, que não sejam disponibilizados roupões e chinelos e, o sabonete líquido e o shampoo a granel em dispensadores...

"Quaint hotel in small town central Portugal. Decent breakfast, good rooms, clean air in the countryside. We chose this hotel for its proximity to Aveiro, Coimbra, Luso & Mata Nacional do Bussaco (well worth the drive!), just two days out of our 4 weeks exploring Portugal. "

"The room was sunny and clean, all white, with a nice kitchenette on one wall. Location is great for walking to restaurants, canal, shopping, etc. One issue is proximity to church which rang bells every 15 min all day (about 8AM to 10PM). Biggest problem was communication with host. Email instruction was to announce arrival and I would be met at door. I contacted by what's app from station and again at door. Messages read but no response after 1/2 hr. Called and told I should have known to use...
