"We loved our stay and were blown away by the size of our room! The bathroom was amazing too!! Such value for money. We couldn't fault this property. The hotel is full of charm and character. We had a very late check-in and the staff were friendly and very welcoming! The room was clean, bed was comfy and we had a great view from our room. wifi was excellent! Breakfast again we were amazed, a full English! The location is perfect, walking distance to many attractions. You really are in the heart...

"We booked late so most other similarly-priced options were already taken. The Rockwell is clean, air conditioned, well located and friendly. No elevator (not a problem for us). For a reasonably priced place we were very happy but we didn't spend much time in the room."

"The hotel Nippon was lovely. One of the old type hotels which has been refurbished. The lounge area was nice, lift was clean,staff helpful. The room was average size bed was comfortable. The view from the window wasnt appealing as it was residential and area not that good. However a 3 minute walk from the hotel took you to beautiful gardens, temples etc. "

"I would highly recommend this hotel. The owners were wonderful and kind and so hospitable. The host picked us up at the airport at midnight and bought us back there. It’s about a 5 minute drive. Rooms were spacious, clean and fresh with very comfortable beds and pillows. And we had the most delicious breakfast which was home cooked. We felt so well looked after. Great first impression of Sri Lanka. "
