"The hotel is cozy and very pet friendly. The decor feels like a old German home. Bed was comfy and room was clean. My favorite part of the hotel was the restaurant downstairs. I have a pork and noodles which was AMAZING! My dog was even able to hang in the restaurant. Morning breakfast was very good. "

"Very welcoming to us and had to come back to the hotel to check us in as we arrived late on day of arrival. We were told we had to inform them of arriving after 8pm but this was not mentioned in our Hotels.com reservation. The following morning reception called us to offer us advice on the surrounding area as we did not have any time during a normal check in process. I thought that this was a very nice touch. Our room, in an annexe across the street, was large and spacious with very comfortable...

"Hirschen Hotel is an idyllic hotel with excellent and extremely friendly service. We actually made friends with Chief Susanne and her daughter Sibylle and look forward to our next stay at the Hirschen. Menzenschwand is a typical small blackforest village and the Hirschen maches that typical Blockforest flair. Although Hirschen was firts built in 1733, it has been updated to a first-class modern hotel."

"We really enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. We were stopping over on our way to a skiing holiday. We had booked a family room and it was great. The staff were very welcoming, with a quick and efficient check in/out. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal and breakfast, both were top notch. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to revisit in the future. "

"They gave me a room directly over the outdoor smoking area. My room smelled like cigarettes for the entire stay. The service was good, and the hotel was clean otherwise. "
