"This place is a combination of a hostel and a hotel. Can’t rate the hostel even though I am sure that it is good. But the hotel - two penthouse suites - is a marvelous place. It is immaculately clean, has all the necessary amenities and more, the owner is obliging and nice. A five star service for very little money. Highly recommended. "

"And let me tell you, for the quality and the quantity of the food you get at the restaurant the prices seem too low to be honest. (I’m grateful for what they are right now!) The only little criticism that I can think of, is that my room didn’t have a kettle! Everything else was just perfect. And a special thank you to Sra. Teresa, for her presence and loving nature. "Our GPS was not able to find Torre Vella! However, having rang the owners and being able to speak Spanish, we were given perfect instructions to find the location. Very friendly, helpful, amicable young couple. We travelled with our dog, who was very well received. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and had an en-suite shower room. Breakfast was served in a very pleasant dining area with views down to the coast and of the garden. During our stay, there was not a lot of choice for...

"Actually, we didn’t stay at the property. Due to an overwhelming smell of chemicals and ammonia like stench (cleaning supplies?) we were unable to stay at the hotel and were forced to find a last minute alternative. Being so value priced, we should’ve expected it, but unfortunately we were unable to sleep with such an intense odor emanating from the moment you walk in. The receptionist was lovely. "

"This hotel was better than expected. The rooms are clean, comfortable and even pool view room allows you to see a bit of the sea. It is a 3 stars, but had a small safe (no fee) and the toiletries are the quality of 4 stars. This place is the real Galicia, very few tourists from outside Spain (except Portugal) and it feels like the real northern Spain. The food was very good and the breakfast excellent.
