"The property itself was in a great location in regards to things around the island and the harbor but it was noisy being right next to the restaurant at the hotel. I asked if their construction would continue the next few days and they said no just today, but every day when we tried to nap we’d hear the hammers . "The room, although clearly beautiful once, was VERY tired and in need of basic maintenance. The thatched roof had visible holes, some floor planks were visibly rotting and crumbled underfoot (perhaps due to water damage from inadequate roof?) All painted surfaces were badly in need of attention. There were disgusting ‘marks’ on the tiles in the shower and I would not use bare-footed. Also found a rotted potato in my bedside table.
