"The location of Hotel Du Casino, above Omaha Beach, was amazing and the view of the beach and the English Channel was incredible. The room was small and a bit dated. The breakfasts were quite good as well. The staff was friendly and helpful but you should know French if you stay there. Also, having a car is a must as most services are about 15 miles away."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location in Bayeux. It is very close and easy walking distance to all the sites in Bayeux. Bayeux itself is in easy driving distance to all the Normandy D-Day locations. The staff could not have been friendlier. It's not a fancy hotel, but for the price the rooms were clean and comfortable and had a good European breakfast. However the staff recommended the American steak bar next door and it satisfied our needs. Not very French but after a long drive a welcome place to stay and top up on the calories. "
