"Brand new hotel recently opened, so everything looks new and good quality fittings. Members of staff were very attentive to our needs. Views are great because the hotel is up in the hill so you get beautiful views of the lake and temples. Great rooftop pool with infinity view. We really enjoyed the Sri Lankan breakfast"

"The Sevana doesn’t look like much from the outside, but inside is spacious with lots of public seating areas and great views from the rooftop. We stayed here on two separate occasions and both times it was very good. Rooms are comfortable, staff are helpful. There’s a filtered water fountain with reusable glass bottles you can take to your room. "The views from this hotel are beautiful. The location is very hard to find, in spite of signage, which had faded from the sun. Google Maps does not take you directly to the hotel, instead it has you driving anywhere but to the hotel. The hotel staff seemed frazzled and disorganized. The dinner was a buffet, while not delicious, it was sustenance. However, the cleaning staff and staff in the restaurant were very kind and accommodating."

"The hotel is perfectly placed to walk to the temple, lake and market. A 20 min walk of brief tuk tuk ride from the station. Reasonably comfortable bed with a private en-suite. The only issue was that one wall of the room is a floor to ceiling window that looks onto the hallway and lets in light from the hall until it is switched off around 11pm. So maybe ask which rooms might be best if you prefer the dark! Air con very good and warm shower. The food is delicious, both breakfast and dinner....

"Good location and close to everything There is no elevator and reception desk in on first floor but the guy in reception help you and thats need to call him from down stairs. This hotel looks like motel more than hotel. In the room there is no facilities like fridge, electric kettle, glass… if you need glass or plate just needs ask reception. "The hotel is just out of the hussle and bustle of Kandy city - about a 15min Tuktuk ride. Perfect to see all the sights in and around Kandy and then come back and relax in peace and quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the owner arranged trips and drivers in and around the Kandy area. The food is was amazing particularly Hassida's vegetable curry! "
