There was a closet to store our belongings and the staff were great to make sure we had fresh towels or we could help our selves. The morning breakfast was simple yet all we needed to start the day. "City Hall was a very nice B&B during our 2 nights in Catania. Damiano provided us with sumptuous breakfasts with meat, cheese, cereal, fresh fruit and magnificent pastries. He also helped smooth over a reservation error I had made and printed out some reservations that we needed for the next step in our journey. We are grateful for his help. "The property was dirty with rusted shower head, broken lights, dirty shower tray, cigarettes in the toilet, marks on wall, open roof hatch, broken door and marked bedding. The room smelt strongly of smoke and the windows were dirty. We did not stay and had to find alternative accommodation. The bed could not be used as it was so dirty and the shower unsafe. I have stayed in basic hotels before but this was dirty, smelly and unsafe."
