"Not really in walking distance, as it is not in the airport area and there aren’t sidewalks in the direction of the hotel. The rooms are ok, but the bathroom needs an upgrade to deserve their 4 stars, so does the pool area. Staff at checkin was friendly."

"The staff work very hard to keep Villagio clean. Adequate breakfast included. Staff are very helpful. The beach location superb. Lidl and eateries 5 mins away. Catania 10 mins, stunning city. Would go back. Yes property could be updated but the location and service made up for this..."

"The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. She is a 5 star host and had some nice snacks and beverages available for us when we arrived. However, the room itself had mold on the shower door and some type of allergen in the bed sheets as my wife got sick after the one night stay. I would stay there again but the place could use better cleaning."

"This was fine for a stay at the airport to get an early flight. It was easy to find and there is a shop and cafe close by. It's walkable to the airport (25 mins) but they can arrange a taxi for you. They supply a kettle and teabags but NO mugs!"
