"Very quite location and walkable from the Salzburg station. There are also buses which which stops right opposite to the property. The check-in was smooth and lady at the front desk was very friendly and explained the city and made very useful recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were very clean and tidy. "Beautiful hotel. Stunning historical palace for breakfast. A wander round the other rooms not to be missed. The library is stunning. Grounds are lovely. Only complaint was the bedside shelf was dirty with a half eaten apple and cosmetic from previous occupants in the room! "

"I am from Canada this is a great hotel, close to old town (15 minute walk) and hop on bus. Easy to take a bus from the airport to 2 blocks from hotel. 20 minutes walk to train station. Breakfast was satisfactory. I would definitely recommend this hotel. "

"I recommend doing research before coming here. If you do not have a car, it will be hard for you to travel up to the hotel, if you do not like to walk. The restaurant is not open everyday. The spa was closed when we were there. The view is amazing and it’s quiet. It’s an old style hotel and it has a lot of history. If you are used to 5 star hotels like the Ritz, don’t come here. "
