"Our room was a bit on the small side but we managed ok , had bath and shower, breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and all staff were very pleasant and helpful we enjoyed our two night stay"

"No instructions in the room on how to operate anything. Shower: insufficient grab handles for old fogies to safely get out. A non slip mat was available from reception. This information was on the very back of the shower. Found by chance. No information on how to switch the electric towel rail off."

"Be sure to talk to the staff as they are extremely helpful and will try to understand what you want and need. Make use of the pool and the facilities and do roam around the beautiful garden. Hotel it is in an excellent spot close to the beach and a wonderful hike in the hills and the classical garden nearby."

"We had an excellent stay. All areas were well maintained but retained their traditional charm. The breakfasts were amazing and the staff were all very helpful. The location was ideal for us as not only could we enjoy the wonderful views from the hotel, but it was right on the path to the Valley of the Rocks, close to the amenities of Lynton and to very near the Cliff Railway down to Lynmouth."
