"The hotel has some really good things and some not so, the room was a good size, loads of plugs and USB ports in the bedroom and beside the bed, bed was comfortable, there was a nespresso coffee machine in the room, we didnt have a very good view and the glass in the window had blown, I wish hotels either did baths or did showers but not try and do both cos they never get them right, to high to step into the bath to have a shower and I'm not tall but my head was about 2inches away from the...

"Lovely hotel, bar, restaurant and room. Our room had a river view, was a good size with an extra large bathroom. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean and well stocked with extra large towels and nice toiletries. There was tea, coffee bags, biscuits and bottled water all of which were replaced daily. Also a fridge. The bedding was luxurious and very comfortable for our very large bed. Really good location and lots to do within walking distance. I would highly recommend."

"Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in the Mansion House which had a lovely rustic feel but was also very clean and modern. The whole site had a lovely feel and the other building with the pool etc looked very modern and also had some nice cosy seating areas. We didn't use any facilities but had a look around and everything looked brand new! Would love to stay here again. "

"Very small rooms and no drink facilities such as a kettle, bed uncomfortable as kept moving and making a gap between headhead. Also only 1 pillow which wasnt suitable "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Stirrups. My daughter and I were going to Royal Windsor Horse Show and thought it would be nice to stay in an equine themed hotel! It is a lovely looking building on arrival, there is plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a function on the second night of our stay, and the hotel had already contacted us to let us know, and said we would be put in a quiet part of the hotel. "Close to the centre of Reading, this is a lively nightspot with accommodation. Access was easy and although our room was on the first floor it is quite high up so noise from the bar (which closes at 11) wasn't an issue. Staff were very friendly and helpful; room pleasant; shower, bed linen, towels, toiletries, coffee/tea facilities all of a high standard. A pity breakfast not available, but lots of good places in the vicinity."
