"We stayed in the Suite (Panoramic Meteora View) room. We booked a two-day Meteora tour from Athens but booked this hotel separately. Maybe it was our lack of understanding of the area but the hotel is in Kastraki (city? area?) that is a bit far from the city center of Kalabaka. Restaurant choices are very limited around the hotel but it is closer to Meteora. For us, it turned out to be a bit inconvenient. The hotel building was rated quite high so I was a bit surprised how old the building...

"Super unique hotel, tucked into a very active mountain town. The roads all around are tiny and winding mountain village size. Hard to find and hard to drive/park, but that really adds to the experience of this unique and wonderful location. Inside the hotel is very modern, well built, clean. Staff very helpful, pulled the car out onto the street for us. Certainly would have helped us find and park if we had called ahead. "

"We booked the hotel and paid for everything. When we arrived at the hotel, it looked deserted with all doors shut, all lights off. We tried to ring the door bell without any response. Then we tried to call the hotel without an answer. Finally, we had to find another hotel nearby. There was no communication whatsoever prior to our arrival at the hotel about its temporary closure."
