Top Santa Cruz Island Hotel Reviews
Galapagos Verde Azul
10/10 Excellent
"Room was spacious with a lovely view, no elevators. Breakfast was a bread with jam and butter, a scrambled egg, an emapanada, fruit, and fruit juice. A lovely way to tart the day. The pool patio was a nice place to relax and the poo was great to cool off in. We were unable to figure out pool towels but dried quickly enough that it was not an issue."
Hotel La Casa de Judy
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel was a great choice. Close enough to walk into town, great views, clean room (including bathroom) and friendly and helpful staff."
Hotel Coloma Galapagos
8/10 Good
"quirky simple hotel. Owner helped us carry the luggage up the stairs. it's on Baltra Ave near more locally owned businesses but close to the Malecon (walkway along the shore) and all the tourist places. Very friendly staff (Sandra & Magali) who cooked a nice breakfast for us every morning. Good reasonably priced seafood meal down the street at the Rustica. We stopped in the Bike shop also down the street about renting E-bikes and received some more restaurant suggestions. People said Buenas Dias to us in the street."
Maidith Galapagos Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Pros: quiet location but still a close walk to town, excellent rotating breakfast options, warm pool for the kids to play in, very clean and comfortable, lots of character! Cons: none, we loved it all!"

What is the difference between a 4-star and 3-star hotel in Santa Cruz Island?
The main difference between a 3- and 4-star hotel in Santa Cruz Island will be the quality of service and availability of creature comforts. Three-star hotels are generally more wallet-friendly and come with the amenities and services required to be comfy, such as breakfast, a gym and WiFi. You can look forward to a little bit more at a 4-star hotel — think upmarket interiors, deluxe toiletries and extra touches like spa centres.
What is the difference between a 3-star hotel and a motel in Santa Cruz Island?
Motels usually offer more affordable rates than hotels, which makes them perfect if you're road-tripping around Santa Cruz Island on a budget. A sought-after option for overnight trips, these roadside getaways come with simply furnished rooms, limited services and on-site parking. Book a 3-star hotel and you can expect to pay more for additional space, privacy and amenities. Guests can make use of things like free WiFi, a lobby and conference rooms at this style of property.
