"Loved bathroom. Big, spacious with 6 ft tub and separate shower. Not expected at this price point. Convenient electrical outlets with one by bed and two by the desk. Great lighting. More attention to details in cleaning would have been nice. Not dirty, but the dusting and floors could have had a little more carefully. Overall, enjoyed and would stay again. "

"Check in was simple and efficient. The hotel however is a bit dated and the rooms are looking a bit tired. That said, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The restaurant was good with a decent choice on the menu for our evening meal. The staff in the restaurant were excellent throughout our stay. Great choice at breakfast and once again the staff were excellent. All in all it was a nice stay and if the guest rooms were modernised this could be a wonderful hotel."

"We only really saw staff at the hotel when we checked in and out. Otherwise it seemed relatively unattended. Noise from the pub carried upstairs into our room. The hotel has no lift, which I understand, but I sorted my search by places with lifts and it still came up. My friend has problems with stairs, so it was kind of inconvenient. Overall am OK stay, but next time I would stay in Kirkwall."

"A house to yourself on the harbour. Simple arrival email giving details of code and keys. Was great to have a whole house to ourselves after 5 weeks of room only. "

"Our stay was great. We were delayed into town due to a canceled flight but Callum was there when we arrived and promptly showed us to our room. Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs. The area is good for walking around Wick. We didn’t have a chance to have a drink in the bar as it was closed the two evenings we were there. I would recommend and we plan to return again "
