4 Star Hotels in Astana, Kazakhstan

"The sauna and pool is not included in the room price and this was not clear to me. They require from guests to make a reservation (which costs 8,000 Tenge which is quite steep) and then you can use the pool and sauna - but only for one hour. Breakfast buffet was decent; staff overall friendly; neighbourhood not that great but Hotel shielded off from traffic/quiet. Some staff have perfect English, others don’t. "

The hotel agreed to a refund, but then ghosted hotels.com and won't pay us back, despite the fact we didn't even stay in it - When we arrived there was no one manning the desk - We were given a roomkey. "It doesn't really feel like 4 star hotel, had issues with the internet, they block it if you have a VPN installed on your computer. The rooms are ok but mkji bar was empty and bed was not very comfortable. The breakfast ok but not like in other 4 star hotels."
