"Staff were very friendly - nice check-in and we were given complimentary cocktails when I mentioned we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Room amenities were good (comfy bed, good shower, and full suite of Sky channels). I really liked the renovated old prison vibe. "

"Spa is fabulous, especially the strong water jets on the shoulder - fab. There were a few people about but it did not feel 'busy' - I did not have to wait to use anything. Same can be said for the gym which had better machines and more variations on kettle bells than my home gym. Godo quality breakfast with variety of choice, inclduing several options for milk. Lovely, friendly, welcoming and very polite staff at all touchpoints from arrival throughout. We were very happy with our last minute spontaneous visit. Would definitely visit again. PS rooms were really clean, which is important to me. And when my husband realised he was going to be too hot at night, the staff were very quick to accommodate with a helpful solution of a thick sheet instead of duvet."
