" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...

"What a charming bed and breakfast! First the friendly staff makes you feel very welcomed to start. Then the clean comfortable spacious room and the lovely bed makes you feel home. And they immediately refresh you with some tea and cake soon after your arrival. The breakfast was lovely, and the swing on the front, the trail behind the house... All wonderful! I also ordered the picnic for the hike, and it had enough to feed four for just the two of us. I would definitely recommend."

"It was in a beautiful location! However there was not much communication between the staff and myself. I had emailed about their additional services and never heard back, I checked in at 4:30 (online it said check in started at 4) and they had already left the property, so I was left alone with a note and no real description about how I could use the living room space and wood fire. It is a lovely place just a bit lonely to see no one during your entire stay and have no one else staying at the...

"Rooms were spacious, and decorated to a high standard. Breakfast was delicious. A member of staff took us to a nearby village as we couldn’t get a taxi, which was very thoughtful. Food and drinks in the brasserie bar were reasonably priced. We had spa treatments and both enjoyed it, but the sauna and jacuzzi experience was a bit odd as it’s not properly connected to the spa and we had to use towels from the gym to shower after. The Fairways Restaurant was good but the food was nothing special and the price seemed very elevated. We preferred the meal we had in the nearby Ballymore Inn. Overall a lovely hotel with a great - although my fairly challenging - golf course"
