"Nice hotel in a nice setting. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. The rooms are a bit tired with peeling paint and some mold in the shower. The dinner menu is a bit basic but overall the food was edible. The full Irish breakfast was missing the mushrooms and although I didn’t want eggs, no alternatives were offered. All I got was one rasher of bacon, one sausage, two pieces of hard black pudding ( no white pudding ) and a very charred and horrible fried tomato half. My wife got the French toast which she classed as just ok."

"Una made our stay fabulous - from her fantastic communication ahead of our approval, to her accommodating our earlier arrival and later check out and the fantastic cottage with everything you need, a true home from home! The beds were sooooo comfy, the showers super warm and powerful and the kitchen having everything you need to make it the perfect base to explore nearby Ashford and everything else nearby! We couldn’t have asked for anymore! Thanks again for a fabulous stay! Well definitely be returning when we’re next back visiting family."

"The staff failed to inform us that there would be construction going on EARLY in the morning hours. We woke at 4am to workers getting ready and 7am to saws and hammers going. This was directly across from us. They should have at minimum put us down the hall further. Also, shower did not work properly and flooded the bathroom. "
