"Salamanca was just a stopping point for us in our way to Madrid. I am SO glad we did. This little walkable city was one of my favorite places in our 3 weeks of Spain and Portugal. I can’t say enough about the NH Collection Salamanca! It’s old but beautiful and the staff is top notch! The location can’t be beat and breakfast was great! We definitely hope to make it back for more than one night. "

"Junior suite was spacious and comfortable. Nice bathroom with lots of marble and good lighting. Breakfast was hit and miss, first morning fairly good, second morning no eggs or yogurt, and both days only juice option was orange which seemed odd for relatively upscale facility. "The view from the hotel was stunning. The room was a good size with a two sink bathroom and good shower. However, there was a used towel left behind the door in the bathroom and crumbs on the occasional table. Otherwise it was made up properly. Like other hotels I have been staying in Spain there was no tea/coffee making facilities . I would have expected slippers and a robe in a property of this type. The reception and bar staff were friendly and helpful."

"This is a clean, and quiet place, very handy if you are on a road trip and need a stop off not far from the motorway. The staff are friendly but for those that dont have any basic spanish you will struggle. There are no tea/coffee facilitates in the rooms which is an annoyance. I am sure they wouldn't like me in my pjs in the restaurant. During April when we visited it actually looks like its being run on skeleton staff and areas such as lounge bar is closed, swimming pool closed until June. And the sauna you have to pay extra for. But its friendly, clean and quiet.."
