Beautiful pool to cool down in or relax sitting by, picnic next to a vineyard, breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio and bar/dining on site; food & service were great. Loved that it is surrounded by lovely grounds available for use to guests. "

"Great location close to historic Coimbra. Be sure to explore the many alley/side streets nearby. Wonderful clean, comfortable, well appointed room. Be sure to have breakfast at O Croisant and an espresso at Santa Cruz Cafe, both just steps away from the front door. Lots of stairs to see the best of Coimbra so bring your walking shoes "

"Beautiful old world apartment central to everything. Hotel was clean and modern and instructions were easy. Finding location at first was challenging as there is no car pull in or front desk. However once we arrived it was easy. The bed was a bit firm and walls very thin so heard the people above us. Gentleman who worked there was very friendly and helpful. Worth the money and very safe. "The staff went out of their way to make our stay amazing - our only regret was that we couldn’t stay another night! The restaurant served some of the best food we have ever eaten. The steak that my wife got was SO good that she asked to speak to the chef, just to tell him it was the best steak she had EVER had in her life! We NEVER do that!"

"The hotel is right on the river. With both beautiful room decks and a large deck for meals and peaceful sitting time. There is an outdoor pool as well as a spa that was enjoyable. Clean and comfortable (ask for robes if you don't see them in your room). Staff all around was friendly and helpful. Look forward to a return stay someday :)"

"Such a beautiful property, big rooms, exceptionally clean, excellent staff service and always ready to help. The manager was just absolutely amazing and very understanding. The highlight for me was the gym. Loved it ! My children loved the swimming pools, the architecture of the building and it's history. The only thing that was a small issue was that there is no public transport and expensive to get taxis to main city. Hence i would recommend one hires a car or drives their own. Nevertheless...
