"I went here for a solo trip and enjoyed a relaxing 2 days. I loved sitting by the pool. The lifeguard was so kind and friendly. The staff at the front desk and breakfast were not very friendly. Beautiful property right by the little town and with a view of the gorgeous lake!"

"We spent 2 rainy days here. We had a few other things to do around Varese, but back at the resort, the spa was very welcoming. There weren't too many people, so we basically had the indoor pool to ourselves. There was also a nice Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, etc, so we had plenty to do. I had a beautiful massage the second day. One negative thing, it was between seasons and the heat was still on, so the room was warm. We asked the front desk to turn off the fan and we left the balcony...

"Room was big and comfy enough, shower doors didnt exatly keep all the water in but just being picky. I did have my do no disturb on the front door, staying for 3 nights so dont need towles of sheets changing & removed complications if something goes missing, however each day dispite asking personally the room was cleaned each day breakfast was alright with enough choice, friendly staff. shame the pool was outside in the winter and no kettle / coffee in the room, cant understand the 4 star...
