"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism. "Our stay at Villa Bachelor was perfect! The apartment was spotless and very well appointed. We had a beautiful private balcony with sea views complete with very comfortable outdoor furnishings and a sun umbrella for the afternoons. Everything was very new and well maintained and the semi-private pool (shared with 2 other apartments) was a special treat on hot Croatian afternoons. "Beautiful hotel, fabulous rooms, beautiful a la carte restaurant. Breakfast was excellent. Restaurant for half board evening meal- terrible! Like a bad motorway cafeteria, not enough trained staff and awful food. So we ate out! "
