"I arrived very early, ready to ask if I could store my luggage until my room was ready, when I was handed the key to my room. I understand this doesn’t always happen, but it was great to get to my room a couple of hours early. My room was lovely with a view of the church. The hotel is in a fantastic location and is perfect for exploring the narrow streets of the old town, but it’s also just steps away from the main shopping area, the river, and other highlights of Basel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I would highly recommend this Hotel."

"I was a little annoyed that an international hotel did not offer anything but snacks from their restaurant over the weekend. I was with my elderly 84 father and we are vegetarian and the only thing we could eat was a pizza or chips if we chose to come straight back after a days site seeing. "

"It looks a very nice hotel when we arrived, but soon when we got to the room the air condition wasn’t working. The sent somebody to fix it but with not avail. They moved us to another room. The bed sheets where not very clean. They said they change them every 3 days… the second night the air condition broke again and we were sweating all night. So cleanliness and amenities were not good. "

"Arrived early but was able to check in as room was being cleaned and after welcome drinks was able to get in room,staff at front desk were very friendly as travel passers were all sorted so we were good to go.room was very spacious very good shower,breakfast was excellent with a good selection.Hotel was in a great location near city centre but a quiet location ,near airport and train station and transport."
