Good place to use as a base in Aberdeen

Great reception - the owner Steve was most helpful and provided coffee upon arrival. Nice well appointed room with excellent shower and comfortable bed

This property was very convenient for our short trip to Aberdeen. The checking in process was easy including information for parking, not far from the property. Staff welcome on arrival was excellent and we cannot complain about the service. Breakfast included a range of options and was ideal to start the day. The fabric of the building is a bit dated however this was reflected in the price.

Perfect location for the university and close to bus stops to get into the city centre. Being on the main road, it was a bit noisy, especially with the window open - which was necessary on a warm summer night. The room was small but very comfortable and had everything I needed, including en-suite facilities. Steven was an excellent host and the porridge with fresh apple and cinnamon was amazing.

See trip advisor full review Steven the host was lovely very accommodating upgraded my room on arrival with no charge Arrived in a snow storm room heated very warm Bed comfy shower hot Breakfast options great always freshly cooked and breakfast room Lits of choice cereal fruit etc as we as your cooked option my son is in Aberdeen and staying here was great a bit of a walk to city centre but very resonabley priced taxis and regular bus service just outside My stay was everything I expect and the price was great value for money We will all be staying again on future visits ❤️😘

Shared shower room powerful hot shower Didnt like the rattling room door but easy solved by shoving chair against it. Decorations old fashioned & radiators rusty All in all a great stay and will return

Friendly.

I was made to feel very welcome and the location was in a handy location. The room had everything I needed and was clean, though maybe due for a refurbishment soon. Breakfast was quite early for a weekend but ok for my needs. Very annoyingly the shower was not working, so I had to wash in the sink. Thankfully I was only staying one night. If this was rectified, I would recommend.

This is a fantastic B&B. The service and hospitality from the moment I arrived was amazing. Great rooms, awesome breakfast and a very homely atmosphere. Steven & Mary were very obliging and were happy to assist with information regarding the local are.
