Stayed overnight as I was attending a meeting at a nearby venue. I was there for long as I checked in at about 10pm and left early in the morning. The room was amazing with an antique 4 poster - I felt like Mary Queen is Scots. would definitely stay again!
We arrived to stay one night at The Kings Arms and had such a fantastic time, we plan on staying there again soon to take advantage of one of the many hikes close by.
We stayed in the Blorenge room and it was large, bright, and clean. The bathroom was huge with a shower and bath with jacuzzi jets!
The breakfast was amazing, and the live music on the Saturday night was brilliant, when we went back to our room we couldn't hear any noise either so it was perfect!
I'd also recommend a visit to the Big Pit Coal Museum nearby.
Our stay was fab, a night to get away before our baby arrives. You’ve got to love a bath in the bedroom!!
We had a great welcome and the facilities and breakfast was lovely.
Wonderful old coach house in an ideal location in town. Staff very attentive, nothing too much trouble! Food was excellent, we had breakfast and an evening meal, service was fab! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a traditional, old fashioned, friendly atmosphere. We would not hesitate to stay again when we visit Abergavenny!
Do not stay here if you want to sleep. Incredibly loud music, inconsiderate guests, mediocre food, couldn’t open windows as the smell of smokers outside would come in, noise from people until early hours of the morning etc. Overall terrible stay I never wish to repeat. Don’t waste your money.
we arrived after a long journey and the staff were attentive and helpful. The quality of the evening meal was excellent . The room was large and comfortable .
Lovely place. If you book in here and want a peaceful afternoon/evening you need to request a room well away from the internal smoking area. We (not deliberately) heard a good few stories!..the window wasn't double glazed and the stories went on and got louder and more colourful up until 11:30pm! Internal drainage system a little noisy too. Best to pack ear plugs.
