On check-in for 5 days, I was put in a room with disabled access. I was not advised of this but when I saw it, thought it would be fine. The first time I showered, I found that the water spread all over the floor. To me, it was obvious that the cause was a tiled floor with poor slope design. I was told there was no other room to move me to, but they would send a technician to look at the drain. Three visits and a new drain cover did not fix it (no surprise as it was the floor at fault). Meanwhile, I had to use the extra towels to dam the water and try to keep it contained to flow down the drain. The final straw was on my last morning shower before checkout - a large cockroach came up through the bigger holes in the "new" drain cover. The maid service is not daily and despite requesting it one day, they said my do not disturb sign was up when they came - did not get any in the 5 days.
In general, the layout of this hotel is very complex and not easy to navigate around - more, better signage would help. The priority clearly is given to timeshare owners and not the casual visitor like myself.

"We had a fantastic stay at the Hard rock hotel. The facilities were excellent 3 very good pools with plenty of beds and music.
